2025 Recap: The Best Wedding & Elopement Photos
When I set out to write my annual recap, I realized something that made me a bit bummed. Last year, my husband and I were much more adventurous—meaning we hit more locations on the ol’ bucket list. But I let myself feel that for a moment, before letting it pass. After all, it’s just part of the ebbs and flows of life. Especially in a year like this, where there can be so much chaos in the world and even in our personal lives. And I very much experienced some tough moments in 2025.
But all that being said, there were still so many incredibly joyful moments, too. And life shouldn’t be rated by the quantity of the good times, but rather by how we find ways to celebrate each other’s victories and cherish each other during those rocky spells.
So with that, I’ll focus the rest of this blog on some of the things I’m so thankful for.
For one thing, this was my fifth year as an outdoor wedding and elopement photographer! I’ve never had a job I felt so fulfilled by—creatively, spiritually, and emotionally. And so much of that magic is due to you—the couples who give me the opportunity to photograph their wedding days.
It’s an honor and a blessing to know that so many of you trusted the Love & Latitudes team with your most precious moments. So, thank you!
Here’s a quick recap of 2025:
Photographed and planned 18 weddings & elopements!
Captured 6 family photo sessions
Officiated 9 weddings
Traveled to 5 states (CA, AZ, NV, UT, CO) and 3 new countries (Thailand, Cambodia, & Hong Kong, China)
Visited 6 national parks: Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Saguaro, Capitol Reef, Redwoods, and Lassen
Took our first solo backpacking trip
Attended our 4th Burning Man
Won an Elopement Legend Award!

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from weddings, elopements, and more in 2025.
