A Pet-Based Family Photoshoot in San Diego

Being a photographer puts you in the way of interesting people and places. From the beautiful places you’ll see, to the amazing people you’ll meet, there’s never a dull moment.

One of the more fun and adventurous photoshoots I’ve had recently was this 3 person, 4 animal family photoshoot in inland San Diego.

When Rachael first contacted me, I didn’t quite realize what I was in for. She mentioned bringing her child and pets—one couple, one kid, and four pets! This fun family rolled up in a giant pickup truck full of critters. Two dogs and two cats followed the humans out of the car, more or less ready for their close-up.

We love pets at a photoshoot, just like this Bay Area engagement photoshoot with their pup. So honestly, I was excited to see how this photoshoot was going to work out. But this military family had things under control, especially since they regularly hike with all four cats and dogs. They came prepared with leashes and off we went to photograph their exciting family shoot.
